Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GreenTag ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information at sign-up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, or rate limits.
• Do not use GreenTag to violate any law, code, or third-party right.
• Do not resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of project files, photos, notes, and other content you upload. You grant GreenTag a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and your workspace.

4. AI output disclaimer

GreenTag uses AI to generate checklists, readiness scores, correction-notice analysis, and inspection recommendations. AI output is a supporting tool — it is not a substitute for a licensed inspector, architect, engineer, or the authority having jurisdiction. You are responsible for verifying compliance with applicable building codes and permits before calling an inspection or performing work.

5. Plans, billing, and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice for the next billing period.

6. Termination

You may cancel at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the Service. On termination, your access ends and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GreenTag will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify GreenTag against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, communicated by email.
